And now for something a little different. Which kind of describes all things in life — something a little different pops up often when we least expect it.
I get many visits from Sparrows on my balcony. And each one that peers in my window I suspect is another personal reminder from the Lord.
About ten minutes — if you watch it to the end you just may be blessed.
Matthew 10:27-31
27 “Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops.
28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.
30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
His Eye Is on the Sparrow
And why should the shadows come?
Why should my heart feel lonely
And long for heavenly home
When Jesus is my portion?
And my constant friend is He
You know, his eye is on the little sparrow
And I know he cares for me
His eye is on the sparrow
And I know God is watching over you and me
I sing because I’m free
For His eye, it is on the little sparrow
And I know He’s watching over you and me
