In The Empty Room

fact is a well placed integral inside the construct of an irrefutable truth that stands unwavering even should nobody believe it.

However, a fact is an apparition to those who refuse it, as is the unyielding truth it supports. Or who try to embrace it on their own terms. Or even to those who would endeavor to twist it into a constructed phantasm of something it is not. And an apparition is is an empty room.

Fact: God is good in every way. One fact inside the construct of the summation of all He reveals to us about the nature of His Personage – the depth of the “Who” of who He is.

This is a verifiable fact not only because of His nature, but also in that He has no need to prove anything to any being, created or otherwise. He has no need to prove His power to man nor His Godhood of self-existence. His power and self-existence is irrefutable and unassailable, as it’s truth remains standing, unfazed and unyielding, even after brushing off vicious attack for many millennia. And no new weapon of argumentation of any period of time has prevailed against this truth. Leaving only the same old weapons dressed with different paint to fail yet again in renewed futility.

He senses no competition from any source. He knows full well He has no viable competitor(s). Knowing He has all power and all authority over His creation and creatures, He has no need to “prove it” as though He had to justify Himself in any way. The proof is self-evident.  ( see Romans 2:4 )NIV

Those who contend against Him do so by waging a unilateral war and exercising an imaginary endeavor, leading to a wasteful dispensing of energy. He knows very well that His silence is the best response to the screeching, and senseless rambling of the insane.

Leaving such to wail their madness to an empty room. (however, He is there – even in an empty room).

The sovereignty of God may be defined as the exercise of His supremacy. Being infinitely elevated above the highest creature—He is the Most High, Lord of heaven and earth. Subject to none, influenced by none—He is absolutely independent. God does as He pleases, only as He pleases, and always as He pleases. None can thwart Him, none can hinder Him.    -A.W. Pink

Who knows? Perhaps they will ultimately hear for themselves the empty, echoing insanity of their own words. Of course people have the right to remain insane if that’s what they truly desire. But likely they want it only because they deceive themselves in thinking the alternative is – insane. Mankind – left to his own natural thinking – isn’t so much complex as he is confused.

For, I, myself was at one time insane. I, myself, eventually heard the madness of my own words. I, myself, in the fullness of God’s time, discovered the futility of contending with the One who knows me best and Who loves me deepest, in spite of myself. ( see Luke 8:26-39 ) NIV

“But (I) was washed, (I) was sanctified, (I) was justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” ( I Corinthians 6:11 )NIV

“Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive (and sane) with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions – it is by grace you have been saved.” (Ephesians 2:3-5 )NIV

“Or do you have no regard for the wealth of His kindness and tolerance and patience [in withholding His wrath]? Are you [actually] unaware or ignorant [of the fact] that God’s kindness leads you to repentance [that is, to change your inner self, your old way of thinking—seeking His Life for your life]?”   Romans 2:4 (AMP)
