One of the major keys to peace in Christ. Acceptance of that which we cannot change. Placing our full trust in the Savior. Our hearts and minds being brought in line with His will for us. This is by no means an easy thing to learn. It comes with much practice by way of experiencing all the storms that we were brought through. Encountering events that ultimately wear their niche into the fabric of our understanding of the way of life. And accepting that. It has no kinship with cynicism nor fatalism. But has full kinship with wisdom and prudence. Trust and obey are the watch words of the day. May we read the Proverbs for a refresher course in that which we know, as we move forward and upward while stepping on fewer land mines. -g.w.
“Desperate, I throw myself on you: you are my God! Hour by hour I place my days in your hand, safe from the hands out to get me. Warm me, your servant, with a smile…” Psalm 31:15 (MSG)
“Trust” Oh the energy I have expended trying to change the unchangeable through the years. I act like there are 50 shades of trust when only one color works with God. Thanks G.W good stuff!
