Life is not about those things we want but cannot have.
It is about discarding of a fathomless treasure gone unrecognized.
The question of why is answerable only from within our own being.
The person in the mirror asks the silent question each time we look in their eyes.
All things outside the question are passing away.
Gone unanswered the question an eternal haunting.
Recognition too late in coming will regret but once.
Forever.
- in His grip, G.W.
“In Him was life, and that life was the light of mankind.” John 1:4
“What is the meaning of life?”
That question is answered. The darkness chooses, wills not to recognize the Light of life.
Well done G.W. The first two lines are gripping. How many times have believers thrown precious cargo overboard and not realize the damage until far too late?

“What is the meaning of life?” Oh, I love to ask people to drag that question out into the light because it cannot be answered in the dark. Even more to help some question

Yes, some will come out of the darkness enough to question. Others choose the darkness over light being that they like the darkness more.
“Light has come into the world.” That is the opening to the answer of the question. Many have, and will, discover it. God’s promise.

Sadly, We see the darkness rejecting the light far too often when we are out sharing the gospel .

Yes, at times I want to bury my head in a good book and ignore it. But I don’t.
Did you find any answers from your church of why closed communion, Crissy?

I will be speaking to the pastor on Sunday, although being Father’s Day I may not get the chance. 🍃
But I will definitely have a chat before any decisions can be made.
