Mid-Winter Break

So, my brother sent some mid-winter funnies to lift the mid-winter blahs.

If you find some funny, you may be living near me. In the far north under mid-winter dark, leaden, sunless skies.

Do you remember the old T.V. advert that goes, “There’s always room for Jell-O?” Just so, there’s always room for humor!

The captions beneath each entry can be blamed on me. I don’t know, they seemed funny when scriven.

But, like I said, everything sounds humorous to me in season.

Hope you enjoy!

[I humbly apologize in advance for the light fare offerings of theses groaners. Feel free instead to look here Old Doberman and here-Laugh. It’s not Illegal.]

Wrote this note to myself after talking with him 5 mimutes.

Now clothes made in China TALK, do they?

Montana, too…birds this large don’t fly!

Now days nobody can afford an island that big. I think it’s illegal, too.

Seems like just yesterday. Diamonds never age.

Makes more sense than blaming it on us. And I’m a weather man. I go outdoors in all sorts of weather.

it’s now safe inside the fence, but not outside. Cujo, maybe?

is this pony abuse? Just asking.

Cold! Must be a new comedy series on netflix.

…so he harnessed it to a mule. Safer too.

So, I’m feeling better…but no more selfies.

A cheerful heart is good medicine,

Ecclesiastes 3:1-4

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

A time to (wound), and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

So, have a warm and prosperous winter. If you’re where it’s warm, you’re cool. ~ G.W.
