Scripture alone is the bedrock of Christian authority, first and foremost.

The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, authoritative, Word of God. And therefore it is the Christian’s only rule and standard for faith and practice.

Church history and all theology, doctrine and gleaned commentary and teaching of Christian orthodoxy must come under agreement with the above statement to gain acceptable orthopraxy. -g.w.
