Shadows

They threaten me

Shadows cast their evil spell

He bids walk through.

4) Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalm 23

Most apprehensive fears are but shadows. They have the power to paralyze us. When we gather the courage to ignore, walk on and find the peace of Christ. ~GW

  1. Wow GW! Gary’s picture + your Haiku + your closing words= an unforgettable message. It is a message I needed to hear especially your words “Most apprehensive fears are but shadows. They have the power to paralyze us. When we gather the courage to ignore, walk on and find the peace of Christ.” A shadow of doubt has had me frozen and unable to move forward on an opportunity I’ve been handed. I’m jotting this down as an encouragement to push through shadow. Thank you!

    1. Thank you so kindly, Beth. Apprehensive fear being only a shadow is a message I’ve preached often. And that’s because I need to hear myself say it so often. I’m glad this helped in your case, if only a little reminder. The Lord is always with us in His faithfulness! Thank you again!
